A couple of weeks back we played a big ol' birthday bash with MFC Chicken for the lovely Vix (aka Al's sister) which we thought we'd share some pictures of.
The theme being 'vintage', we turned out in our finest World War II finery (well ok, military jackets and a cap) and have to say that the basement of the Bestey Trotwood - a Victorian pub in Clerkenwell full of character and charm - couldn't have been a more perfect venue.
Fab night, fab people and it's not often you go to a party that descends into a 'free for all' music jam into the early hours (see video below!)

Fashion Blogger Tea Party at Rokit HQ
A couple of weeks back, the lovely folk at Rokit HQ hosted an exclusive fashion blogger event at their warehouse and asked us Heels to play (naturally, we said yes).
Being the non-professional bloggers that we are we're a little behind on the post, but better late than never here are some of Al's pics from the day.
A big thank you to Rokit for a great day of music, dressing up, tea and cakes! xx

Upcoming Heels gigs
Love Whitechapel more than Jack the Ripper? More partial to a freebie than a disgraced MP? Then you'll basically want to give these two free gigs a go...
Tomorrow @ Indo (event here)
Thurs 14th, exhibition launch
See you there!

First blog of the year: better late than never...
As usual, it's been a while since our last blog... but for good reason! (kind of...) Here's what we've been up to.
1. Sorting our new line-up
Joining us on drums is Al and his alter-ego 'La Brown', while on bass we've got Kevin 'the mutton chop' Lennon.
2. Organising Tom's CD's and finding definite contenders for 'world's most homoerotic CD cover' and 'best supporting sexual guitar face'.
3. Debuting our new night 'Rock 'n' Roll Basement', with music from us (obvs), our friends The Flying Rats, The Kandy Kane Kids (former DYH bassist Chris's new band) and MFC Chicken. Pics courtesy of Garlen Lo.
Tommy hits the bottle to satisfy his 'saucy' addiction.

4. Aaaaand... well, gigging some more.
